Dolores has performed voiceover commercials, voice-only role playing for industry, has written and performed narration for business live and video productions and created animated characters for live audiences of adults, teenagers and children for many years. She teaches and directs her Basic Voiceover Workshops in Commercials, Animation, Narration and Audiobooks and manages all of her other workshops, from intermediate through professional levels, personally selecting the Directors. The Intermediate/Extended/Advanced and Professional Level Workshops and Workouts are directed by: Voiceover Talent Agents; Commercials and Animation Casting Directors; Narration Professionals; Industrial Publishers; Ad Agency Producers; Professional award-winning Audiobook Readers and Directors; and Award-Winning Radio and Internet Theatre Directors! Dolores has taught Commercials Voice Over to nearly 4,000 students and Animation Voice Over to over 900 students in classes not exceeding 8 people totaling over 5,000 sessions equaling 15,000 hours of Voice Over teaching experience. Voiceover Agents and Talent Casting Directors throughout Southern California refer novices and established actors to The Voiceover Connection! They find they can readily transition into the various VO disciplines: Commercials, Animation, Industrial Narration, Audiobooks, Video Games, and can also expand their voice acting skills into comedy & drama AudioTheatre. All workshops feature intensive mic work and independent individual feedback from every Director. Talent Agents and Casting Directors participate, not to audition talent, but primarily asTEACHER/directors, providing feedback based upon their standards for professional voice over talent, rating students as to their readiness to compete, providing advice on developing their talent toward achieving their goals. The Voiceover Connection, Inc. does not produce demo tapes, nor does it endorse or recommend any specific persons in demo tape production. The various workshops do include advice and counsel to the students regarding how to plan for, and select someone to produce, a demo of quality at reasonable cost, and how to know when they are ready to take that step. Examples of competitive demo tapes in the various disciplines are included in the workshops by the Directors. Tuitions are kept at minimum and affordable rates, payable with cash, check, money order, VISA, MasterCard, DISCOVER or American Express. Payment plans are offered whenever possible. Make up sessions are arranged for a limited number of sessions missed. Each and every student receives individual feedback from all Directors of all of the classes the student takes.
